Renter Friendly Organizing
In Los Angeles, more than half of the residents are renters. That means 1.9 million households: holy cow! When it comes to approaching how you want to organize your space, there are a few different approaches you might want to consider that would differ from someone who owns their home.
You ideally want to invest in the items that will easily work in your next space too.
And then of course, on the flip slide, you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on items that might be one-time-use.
Steering clear of anything that damages walls is important.
There’s a chance that we’re working in a smaller space, so space-saving solutions are a must.
You don’t necessarily have to sacrifice style for function.
We’ve helped a ton of renters, ourselves included, organize their spaces. With a little creativity, and most likely some sorting and purging, a rental apartment or house can function beautifully without damaging the owner’s property. We also have been helping lots of families in rental homes pick out simple furnishings (couches, beds, dressers, etc.), so if that’s something you are looking for help with, please reach out!
In the meantime, here are some of our favorite renter-friendly organizing + design products to get you started on your organizing journey!
